I AM A GOD.

Well... not really, no. I am in no way, shape, or form a Deity of any kind.

Although I'd imagine that would be kind of cool. At least Kanye West thinks so. Haha, in honor of the concert I will be attending this week (!!!) I am creating four exclusive shirts with similar designs on the front with a few different touched but with a different lyric from a song off of the Yeezus album. These aren't currently for sale, BUT given enough demand, I may just do that.

Cyber Punk Girl

 

VAVAVOOM!!!010101!!01!0011 Haha, this was very much a fun project to do that was kind of Superman 3 inspired (kudos if you know why) and half Terminator inspired. I'm hoping I can do more with this type of drawing sooner than later, but I've been real busy as of late with work (the holidays). The angle here was to do something more outside of my comfort zone and trying to go for that cyber punk, Matrix / Johnny Mnemonic look. I'm sure it'd kick ass in 3D... 

Anyway, I'll try to post more soon! Instead of taking these month long hiatus'. Next up should be my Yeezus shirts for the Kanye tour hitting Miami soon! I'll post up the various designs and then the final, leading up to the concert!

TWO FOR TWO TUES- er...WEDNESDAY!

 

 Hey guys! I've slacked just a little bit for the past week so I thought I'd put two new flicks up in here. The first is Spidey, which was tremendous practice in detail, shading, a bit of line and cross hatch work. I've never drawn a Spider-Man that I really liked so this was happily one of the first that I really enjoyed drawing up in the sketch book. 

The second piece is a definite practice in crosshatching, with Batman over looking the soon to be drawn Gotham skyline. Again, same deal, this is one of my favorite drawing of him thus far. I wanted to be a bit more graphic here and I think I achieved that pretty well.

I choose to showcase these two super-hero pieces so I can show the different range of style that I'm capable of reaching. The only quips I have with the initial drawing of either of them is Spideys lips. He looks like he has none lol. It's a small thing to look at but as you can imagine, a big deal to me. I'll continue to work on more original work with showing some of the first InCORRUPTIBLE(s) next week.

Practice (Hot Chicks)

I drew these lovely ladies during work today at of pure boredom. I was drawing stuff for Incorruptible(s), usual, and then I decided to go a different route and draw some sensual poses for fun and practice... and out popped this awesome little drawing session! This was probably one of the more entertaining drawings I've ever done in a long while and I'll have to make a note to do more stuff like this in the future... Hope you guys enjoy this one!

Z-Z-ZOMBIES!

Hey world!

Sorry I was a little late with this post, I got a too busy at work this week but I'm back with some more art for the masses!

These are a couple of Zombie designs that I was tasked to design for a comic book/novel type of story that hasn't taken off. Yet. Overall it was my first time doing this type of graphic art work. While it looks pretty gruesome and I wasn't sure how I'd feel when I would draw it up, it certainly was fun and challenging to do! I welcome the chance to work on something like this again for the sake of gaining a further understanding of human anatomy.

InCORRUPTIBLE(s)

The blog has been renamed today because I finally have something, an idea, that really speaks to me and will be the continuing inspiration for most of the new work that I will be showcasing here.

I'm really excited to start posting some of the artwork I've been pumping out for this idea. I have been sketching and writing all summer and pretty soon I'll post up some of the synopsis' of the show and it's premise once I have all the legal stuff worked out. 

The best part about what I'm working on is that I have gotten great feedback for the general idea itself amongst friends, family, and more importantly, complete strangers (not that I gave away any really important plot points or story mechanics mind you). The reason that was important to me is because what I'm working on isn't simply something just for me but something I want to share with the whole world; and if I can get the everyday Joe and Jane to like what I'm doing, then I think I have something really special on my hands. Furthermore, it will establish a link that will hopefully connect the average person to comic books more so than now.

With all the recent Hollywood blockbusters gaining their materials from comic books, I was annoyed to still see people not immersing themselves more into the wonderful, imaginative world of comics. It's definitely not a nerd or geek's world anymore and my main objective with what I'm going to achieve is to finally get more people to read comic books!

There are so many great writers and artists and stories out there that are now responsible for some of the biggest money makers in Hollywood right now that I want comic books to finally come into the lime light and show the world just how many amazing and interesting stories are really out there.

With InCORRUPTIBLE(s) I hope to achieve that.

As for now, I'll be posting new work weekly (hopefully) so to whomever checks out this blog, enjoy!

Death by Design

I got all sorts of inspiration for this one... the biggest one being that I had never done ANYTHING last this before. I promised my self that I would one day attempt to tackle it on illustrator but for now it may just be a photoshop piece. No doubt that once it's colored it may very well come to be one of the best pieces I have ever done. So far.

Guess who's back?

I haven't been back to this blog in almost about 8 months. There's really not too many excuses as to why other than the fact that I've been more busy trying to locate jobs than I have ever been in my entire life. It's still no excuse. I'll be posting new content weekly (Hopefully). Starting today and going on into the rest of the year and hopefully it'll stay that way for while!
